Most socks stop at 46. If your feet are bigger, you get socks stretched thin or tennis socks that never fit. We knit dress socks to your real length, in six designs that go with a suit or with nothing at all.
You're not too big. The industry was too small.
A "47 to 50" sock is knitted in one size. The rest of the range is left to the stretch. A "43 to 46" treats a 46 the same way. At the top of the range it goes thin at the heel, strangles the calf and gives up in the wash. We knit the foot and the leg longer for every bracket. The fit comes from the length, not from the stretch.
Length, not stretch
Every bracket has its own sole and leg length, knitted in. The sock fits on day one and on wash forty.
Dressed, not sporty
A dress sock that reads as colour from across the room and as craft up close. Ribbed cuff, flat toe seam, lettering hidden on the inner sole.
Tested on a 50
Worn, washed and tumble-dried on the founder's own feet before a single pair was ordered. He has been looking for these socks for forty years.
The six
Three for the boardroom. Three with a point of view. Every pair carries the OFFSCALE lettering on the inner sole, so the colour stays clean on the outside. One price, every size.
Two sizes per sock.
Never four.
Sole and leg grow two centimetres from one bracket to the next. The numbers below are the relaxed sole length, measured flat, not what a label promises after stretching.
Cuff and leg are widened from 48-49 upward. Big feet usually come with big calves, and a sock that fits the foot but strangles the leg is not a fit.

The first run is being knitted now. Leave your size and email and you get the launch date, first choice of designs and the launch price before anyone else. Size 52 or larger: same form, we count every entry.
